In December I spent little less than two weeks in Australia, staying the majority of my days at Sanctuary Lake Street where I got a bit of my sanity back.

ANTIOXIDANTS

My Nigella inspired antioxidant fruit salad with red currants, pomegranate and blue grapes. I am not a big fruit eater, but this is delicious!

WINTER LANDSCAPE

This is my own watery winter landscape. I took this picture at the Geertebrug on the Oude Gracht on December 31st around noon, only a few hours after I got back from my trip to Australia. The difference almost couldn't be bigger.

ART-O-THEQUE

Got my art library membership today. My first piece is a traditional oil-on-canvas winter landscape by Utrecht artist Albert Temming. It sits nicely on my dresser for the coming weeks, until April comes and I'm ready for a spring landscape...
