This is the purple/brown mustard I had the other day. The best known and perhaps only producer of this kind of mustard is Maison Denoix. It gets the purple colour from adding grape must to black mustard seeds and many other ingredients. I wonder whether Goeie Louisa has her own violet mustard recipe or just opens up a Denoix jar...
